“The day I stepped foot in the studio, was the day that completely changed the way I look at myself in the mirror after almost 10 years post pregnancy with our son. My body chemistry, my mental health and physical build completely changed, and I never truly got past it. It’s mind blowing to think that it took getting naked in front of total strangers within 10 minutes of my arrival to spark that change. Those first 10 minutes were able to reverse years of self-inflicted disgust in my own body. Looking at myself that day, picking out my outfits, with Lindsay and Natalie, felt like I was talking to friends. It was clear, we all had the same goal, which was to make me feel like the badass woman I am. I was finally silencing the voice inside my head, that for years told me that who I saw looking back, was not me. That feeling of awe looking at my own reflection before the shoot, did not fade when I walked out that day. I left riding the high of feeling like I could take on the world. Since that day, I have anxiously awaited the day for my big reveal, a day that really makes it feel real. It comes after months, where I continued to discover a new appreciation for myself, not just as a woman, but as a person. To say this experience changed my life, is an understatement. This experience did change my life, but to put it more accurately, it sparked change in my life, which I will continue to reap the benefits of everyday, and for that I am forever grateful.“
