I have a very special place in my heart for Bekkie, we became friends after her shoot and she then became the most amazing nanny for my daughter that I could ever imagine. Have you ever met those people that are just designed to be around children – that just “get” kids? Well that person is Bekkie and she is a saint in our lives. …but enough about me…
It was really exciting to have such a brave client, Bekkie was the first of my clients to brave boudoir in the snow, and I have been waiting to share her session till just the right time. As always, we had a few looks with her session, and I loved all of them! I was ecstatic when she brought her gorgeous cathedral length veil with her to the session, because not only is it gorgeous, but I love playing with fabric and different textures during shoots. I love the way that the veil just brought such an intimacy to a shoot that was outdoors, and the way that it softened her look. I would have to say the best thing about this session is watching the progression of confidence from Bekkie, starting more coy and ending with the last shot where she is fully embracing her femininity and female power.
