Let Them Hate – Saratoga Springs | Albany | Troy | New York – Boudoir

I cannot even begin to tell you how often I hear stories from women who come into our studios that they are worried about haters.  Seriously.  Grown women, who still think it makes their lives more productive to hate on other grown women. It’s a thing….and I cannot stand it.

What I struggle to understand is why as women we cannot tribe up and realize how much stronger we all are when we can support each other rather than tear each other down.  It gets even worse when a woman starts to embrace her own body and sexuality.

Confidence is basically both a pheromone and repellent for haters.   They are so drawn to it because they lack it, THAT is what makes them haters! In the words of the great James Franco in The Interview “Hater’s gonna hate and ainter’s gonna aint” (please go youtube the haters scene from that movie upon completion of reading this blog, as I quote it constantly.  “They are just peanut butter and jeally”)

So here is what I have to say today.

Let the haters hate.  Let the nay sayers say what they will.  Because at the end of the day you are worthy of happiness and joy and you deserve to be confident.  You deserve to love yourself free of judgement from others.  You deserve to be loved by your family, friends and lover.  You are worthy of all good things in this lifetime and don’t ever let anyone every try to tame your flame.
