A Leap of Faith

Faith: Complete trust or confidence in someone or something.

This is a lot to ask from someone.  Especially when you are asking someone to strip down in both a very literal and figurative fashion.  Yet this is what Erin and I do.  Every week.  Multiple days a week.  We ask you to have faith in us.  To take a leap and do something, there is a very high likely hood you have never done in your life before.  But we ask.

The crazy thing (or maybe not so crazy) is that you do.  You do have faith in us.  You trust us enough to be able to look at you and see you for the most beautiful version of yourself.  You trust that we understand light, and clothing and posing and how to use our art.  But more than that, you trust us with your stories, your struggles, your accomplishments and victories.

I have said this time and time again, Boudoir is not just about pretty pictures, it is about an experience in self awareness, self appreciation and self-love. z

This stunning #LRPBoudieBeauty took a leap of faith.  She drove almost 3 hours for her session, and she did something she has never done before.  She took a leap of faith in me to show her that part of herself she knew was there, but as a mom, never really gets to see anymore.  She took a leap of faith in Erin to bring out a side of her that is often reserved for special occasions and the rare date night. She took a leap of faith in her relationship, that her partner would receive these most vulnerable of gifts she could give with a gracious heart (which he did!) Most importantly She took a leap of faith in herself that she was every bit as beautiful and deserving of this experience as she knew she should be.
