A Change is Coming

I thought today made the perfect day for an update! As you may have noticed there have been some awesome changes happening over here! We are in the process of completely re-branding the business, including  a new website (coming soon!), new packaging, products, and new sessions offered.

A lot of you know me because I started out as a family and child photographer.   I thought this would be a great opportunity to explain why I stopped photographing families and chose to focus my energy into feminine portraiture. I absolutely loved my time photographing children, babies and families. I started to feel there was fulfillment lacking for me from these sessions. Although it was amazing to create memories for these families, I didn’t feel like I was making a real change or impact on my clients.

There are so many wonderful local photographers who can take a great family picture. Understanding how to pose women, how to instill confidence in them and knowing how to allow women to be vulnerable enough to trust in themselves is a gift. One that I have learned is limited to few

I often use Boudoir to describe the work I do, but I feel it falls more into the category of feminine and empowering portraiture. Be it a classical lingerie shoot, or a glamour session, the goal is to undress yourself, beyond just your physical being. Shooting with us is not just about taking pictures, but about giving yourself permission to be vulnerable.

The sessions that we are offering now are about celebrating YOU.  They are about celebrating your love, your appreciation of yourself, your business, your success, your growth and your journey. You only get one body. Time to give yourself permission to love it!

This desire to help women feel beautiful and confident is what inspired the re-branding of the business. The women that come to us crave and deserve a luxury experience and that is exactly what they get with LRP.

If there is one thing that will stand the test of time, it is the pictures and the memories you leave behind. The prints we now offer are heirloom quality.  Our albums are crafted in the finest Italian tradition. These beautiful products will be a marker of the legacy of the incredible woman you are for generations to come.
